Mae govannen!
My name, in this world, is Jon Moss. In other worlds, I might be known as Kerowyn (while playing Aardwolf online) or Théodwyn (while writing for and helping edit the monthly newsletter of the Tolkien Society of Kansas City) or Gilraen here at my new blog home that is a window into the west of Middle-earth in Arda, and nominally referred to as Henneth Annûn. If you haven’t guessed yet, I have a life-long love of reading anything written by or about J.R.R. Tolkien and other epic fantasy authors who followed.
I’m an avid reader and so you will see many books reviews here. Click here for my definition of a five star rating scale. I am an amateur astronomer, an amateur photographer, love Rottweilers, and when I’m really bored (or when it’s really cold outside), I crochet.
I became a grandmother last year. My son, daughter-in-law and grandson live in north Texas, where my husband and I make an annual pilgrimage every Thanksgiving. My daughter lives in the Pacific Northwest and performs around the country in various operas (follow this link for her upcoming engagements or follow her on Patreon for insights into the life of a contralto).
Hi there! I got your blog address from Rachelle, whom I’ve met through university choral things (my husband conducts/teaches/administrates there). I’ve barely had a chance to look around your site yet, but what I’m seeing I enjoy immensely, so I’m looking forward to much more!
Best,
Kathryn
Thanks for visiting my blog. I am enjoying an Easter visit with Rachelle in Texas right now, so please excuse my delay in responding.
Beautiful looking dogs. You crocheted that? It puts the professor to shame. They’re lovely.
Thank you.
Hi! I found your blog through Goodreads. I like how you review books and movies! Oh, and I love Rottweilers! And that’s a beautiful scarf and hat! God bless!
Thanks.
